# Introduction

RedisTrade is a cross-server trade plugin, designed to make item exchanges between players on different servers seamless.

The plugin is also **proxy-less**, meaning it doesn't require any additional proxy plugins

RedisTrade has a **cache and a database.** \
\
**The cache** is for the currently running trades, so the trades are not yet completed. \
\
Inside the **database**, we find the archived trades, indexed by their UUIDs and the timestamp in which they were created

RedisTrade is also **built for scalability**, making it the **perfect choice for large and growing servers** that require a reliable and efficient chat system
